History and Purpose

The Garden State Association of Christian Schools (GSACS) was officially founded in March of 1977 to benefit fundamental Christian schools in the State of New Jersey. GSACS is a direct affiliate of the American Association of Christian Schools.

The general purposes and objectives of this Association are to aid in the promoting, maintaining, and improving the moral, spiritual, and academic standards of Christian schools in the state and to combat those forces which would attempt or destroy the freedom of Christian schools to exist and flourish.

"In this day when Christian schools are so important to our Christian families, it is imperative that we band together in common purpose that each school may be strengthened and protected by our united front.”

Our late founder, Rev. Al Monson, wrote this statement.
